Dr. Thomas Kim

Dr Thomas Kim has been a part of the Elevate Dental team since the beginning of 2023, when he returned back to Sydney after working in Brisbane. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Dental Science (Honours) at The University of Queensland. Originally hailing from Sydney and graduating from Sydney Boys High School, Dr Kim has always had a strong passion for knowledge and providing high quality care for patients.

After graduation from dentistry, he was awarded for the Primary Dental Sciences examination with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons (RACDS). He was subsequently granted official membership into RACDS.  He also served as a committee member for the Australian Society of Endodontology, having contributed to the development of incorporating new graduate members into the society. Dr Kim was admitted into the prestigious King’s College London, where he is studying a postgraduate degree in Endodontics (root canal therapy) whilst also working as a dentist in Australia. He has also been appointed as a clinical educator, lecturer, and unit coordinator of the Endodontics program for the DMD students at the University of Sydney, where he supervises the academic and clinical learning in root canal therapy.

Dr Kim is well trusted for his honest communication with patients and detailed discussions with every patient and their best interest in mind. He is well-faceted in all fields of dentistry including restorative fillings, surgery, tooth extractions, and crowns. His main focus lies in root canal therapy, as apparent in his in depth involvement in the field professionally, academically, and clinically. He is also fluent in Korean. 

When he isn’t working or studying, Dr Kim loves to hit the gym and frequently visits Brisbane. He would love to meet you for a consultation and discuss any questions you may have!
